Kitchen Suppression Systems
Today's commercial cooking environments, with the popularity of low fat foods, require the use of hotter burning vegetable oils. This, coupled with highly insulated, slow-cooling appliances have increased the difficulty of extinguishing fires in these kitchens. Allied Fire & Safety can design, install and maintain restaurant & commercial cooking fire suppression systems from manufacturers such as Ansul, Amerex, Pyro-Chem and Kidde that will prevent and extinguish restaurant fires in these types of commercial cooking environments.
At each inspection we will secure system control head to prevent accidental discharge, remove agent storage cylinder, weigh and check for proper pressure and condition. Activate system by remote pull station and by cutting a fusible link. Replace all fusible links. Check operation of all automatic fuel shutoff devices. Reset all fuel, pull and cable activated devices and electrical components. Clean and reinstall cylinder. Restore system to set position. Prepare and forward directly to Owner and Local Fire Official, a comprehensive report of system condition.
Inspection Frequency: semi-annually
